Changing over to a 4 piston caliper design helps distribute the braking force much more evenly on both sides of the brake pads, not just one single piston pushing from the inside pad forcing the outside pad to the brake rotor. This makes the heat / braking force distribution mainly coming from the inside brake pad.

This newly designed brake caliper kit fits as a direct replacement bolt on Big Brake Kit with a bigger 300mm / 12 inch rotor.  Converting your single piston into a 4 piston design.

In addition to this, an upgraded brake pad shape is used, offering 25% more contact patch to the rotor than the original brake pad. This new caliper kit uses the brake pad shape taken from the Acura NSX 1990-2005 model (NA1/2) or 1997-2001 Integra Type R (DC2-R).
