This bumper offers a unique low wind resistance aero dynamic look.  As speeds accelerate the wind creates drag.  Most of the highest performing race cars use this style of front end.  In Time Attack, Drag 1/4 mile racing, circuit racing, NASCAR you see a similar nose / bumper.

The reason for this is the air flow we want to direct past the body.  This bumper is perfect for chassis mounted splitters.  Any CR front bumper / chassis splitter will work with this bumper as well.
